Suzuki GSX-8S SERT: A Celebration of Innovation and Racing Success

With the global availability of the Suzuki GSX-8S, it is evident that the Japanese manufacturer is committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation. This middleweight naked bike sets a new standard in its category, offering superior performance and technology compared to its competitors, including the Honda CB750 Hornet.

To commemorate this achievement and honor the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team (SERT), Suzuki has introduced a custom graphics package for the GSX-8S in the French market. Known as the GSX-8S SERT, this graphics kit transforms your GSX-8S into a naked tribute to the race bikes used by the SERT. Suzuki France had previously released a similar package for the GSX-S1000, the larger sibling of the GSX-8S.

The Suzuki Endurance Racing Team has an impressive track record, having won a total of 20 championships in the Endurance World Championship (EWC). In the 2021 season, the Yoshimura SERT Motul team emerged victorious. In 2022, the title was claimed by FCCTSR Honda France, but Suzuki aims to reclaim the championship in 2023. Notably, Suzuki had initially withdrawn from racing but decided to continue its participation in the EWC.

In addition to the race-inspired livery, the SERT kit for the GSX-8S includes practical accessories. These include a functional belly pan that can capture any engine oil leaks and prevent them from reaching the track. The kit also features tank pads, a windscreen, and a fender eliminator kit. While a small winglet adorns the side of the radiator cover, it is primarily a visual enhancement rather than a functional component.

The GSX-8S SERT kit is available for purchase at Suzuki dealerships in France for 899 Euros, approximately $995 USD.
